the journey of generosity

It was inevitable that I sought to form a charitable foundation once my housing development company - Epic Valley Holdings Sdn. Bhd. - grew into a profitable and reputable business. It was a natural progression that my company evolved to include my personal value of helping one another - united as one, succeeding together.

Giving has always been a part of my DNA. Perhaps, it was due to the first-hand experience I had while struggling to survive growing up - where at times I gladly accepted charity and the many forms of support, be it, financially or the priceless wisdom of mentors along the way. I willingly worked hard to build stability and wealth in my life, but still, there are dire times along the way that many of us desperately need help in some form or another.

I empathise with the poor and disadvantaged and understand the relief they feel when they receive assistance. It is important to help these folks who just need a boost in life to get back on their feet; and especially, seeing children get the vital education they need to thrive independently in life.

the philanthropic drive

The Foundation has donated generously to schools, hospitals, old folk homes, NGOs, religious institution, orphanage, woman or single-mother welfare societies through Yayasan Anak-Anak Yatim Sultanah Hajah Haminah, Persatuaan Bencana Alam Negeri Kedah, Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah , Persatuan Pandu- Puteri Negeri Kedah and etc.

Tan Sri Fng has actively participated in the Regional Economic and Social Development Program such as the building of roads, bridges, schools, fire brigade station, old folk homes and so forth. He has also donated lands for development of school extensions and buildings.

Besides expanding his business empire within Epic Valley Group, Tan Sri Fng Ah Seng is also actively involved and hold positions as the Honorary Adviser and Director for various Non-Governmental Organization and Social Institutions.
